Medicare & Retirement planning
What is Medicare?
Medicare is the federal health insurance program for:
- People who are 65 or older
- Certain younger people with disabilities
- People with End-Stage Renal Disease (permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or a transplant, sometimes called ESRD)
What are the different types of medicare?
What’s not covered by Part A & Part B: Learn about what items and services aren't covered by Medicare Part A or Part B. You'll have to pay for the items and services yourself unless you have other insurance. If you have a Medicare health plan, your plan may cover them
Medicare Part A
(Hospital Insurance)
Part A covers inpatient hospital stays, care in a skilled nursing facility, hospice care, and some home health care.
Planning for the future
Saving for retirement? Planning for college? We’ve got you covered! We offer retirement and college planning without the stress and confusion.
Ancillary Products
Ancillary products offer coverage for areas that Medicare and health insurance plans do not support on their own. Some examples of ancillary products are dental, vision and hospital indemnity plans.
Medicare Plans
Medicare Advanage
Medicare Advantage is an “all in one” alternative to Original Medicare. These “bundled” plans include Part A, Part B, and usually Part D. Most plans offer extra benefits that Original Medicare doesn’t cover — like vision, hearing, dental, and more. Medicare Advantage Plans have yearly contracts with Medicare and must follow Medicare’s coverage rules. The plan must notify you about any changes before the start of the next enrollment year.
Medicare Supplement
Medigap is Medicare Supplement Insurance that helps fill "gaps" in Original Medicare and is sold by private companies. Original Medicare pays for much, but not all, of the cost for covered health care services and supplies. A Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) policy can help pay some of the remaining health care costs, like:
- Copayments
- Coinsurance
- Deductibles
Medicare Part D RX Coverage
Medicare Part D, also called the Medicare Prescription Drug benefit, is an optional U.S. Federal Government program to help Medicare-eligible beneficiaries pay for self- administered prescription drugs by enrolling into prescription drug (Part D) plans
